Two Year Anniversary!

Tim and I have made it thus far!  Two years ago today, we were driving up the hill to go and be sealed for time and all eternity in the Bountiful, Utah temple.  It was the best day of my life, and since marrying Tim, my days have continued to be the best.
Our sealer said something to us that I will always remember.  He told us to frequently ask each other if the other was happy. If our spouse answered yes, he told us to keep doing what we were doing.  If the answer was no, he strictly said that we better shape up and make changes quickly to ensure the next time we ask our spouse if they were happy that they would answer YES!  I can easily say that Tim has made me one happy girl, and I am so grateful for him.
I used to never quite understand couples when they would say something like, "Oh, it gets better, you two will fall more in love as each year passes..."  Even though it has only been two years, I am convinced that that is true.  I love you Tim!!!

Latest Obessions

Okay, so I am just going to come out and say it.  I have my passions (my family and those who have ever lived with me know what I am talking about...)  I love my hubby, my darling little boy, my other family, the outdoors, cooking, eating, the Gosple, BYU sports, exercise, music, reading, etc...
Lately though, I have come upon something else that has been occupying my time.  I guess it has something to do with me moving to a new place and starting fresh again.  I am going to have a blast decorating my new humble home in Cleveland!!!  Looking on decorating blogs, getting ideas from other darling houses, and going to stores that have the cutest decor has been my hobby lately!  I don't know what it is, but it is addicting.  It is also kind of depressing at the same time.  I have a very limited fund (but I do have a fund, bless Tim's heart for trying hard to understand, and being so wonderful), so I have to be selective.  But that is what makes this whole decorating experience so enjoyable.  I guess there is something to be said for having $$$$$$ amounts of money, and being able to spend whatever you would like on home decor, BUT as my mom would say, "They aren't any happier than us Canda."  She is right....right?
Anyway, I'm sure none of you really care about any of this, but cheers to those of you who do!  Yeah for decorating!!!

Okay, I LOVE this type of china.  Shame on me one hundred
times over for not registering this china for our wedding.  Oh well,
I believe in second chances!

Don't even get me started about this display of loveliness...amazing!

Imagine this china in these kitchens.  Oh man, so cute! (The one I have my eye on is the picture in between the black
and white square tile, and the one with the chandelier.)

Pictures!

For some reason, my computer wasn't letting me upload pictures and videos on my last post, so here they are now.
Max and Tim wrestling...Max is pretty good at pinning
his Daddy down!
Tim has been soooo busy working hard to earn an
extra penny here and there, so I don't get to
see him as much as I'd like to.  We finally had a free night
last week, and went out for Nielsen's Frozen Custard...mmmmmm!
I wanted to take a picture outside Nielsen's, but I forgot, and it was really windy,
so we opted for the car.  We had a lot of fun!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Holt
for letting us go!!
Max's first Easter Egg hunt at his Great-Grandma Ashworth's!
Max in the early stages of learning how to crawl...
video of the final stage coming soon :)
Max and his cousin Theo playing together.  They are the best buddies,
and it is always so cute to see them play together.  Theo is always so
"soft" with Max, and treats him like a little doll.

Well, life has been pretty exciting for us right now.  We are 95% (we are on a whoppin' 6 wait lists right now, so there is still a chance we could go somewhere else, but probably not) sure that we are going to be headed back east at the beginning of July for med school. Tim was accepted at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (say that 10 times fast) in Cleveland, Ohio- I am so proud of him!  It is a great school, and a beautiful place to live- besides the long, cold and grey winters.  We are really excited, but know we will be in for an adventure.
My sister Elise and her husband  Bren went to dental school at Case a couple of years ago, and so she and her dear friends have been SO wonderful in helping us find a place to park for 4 years.  We found a house on a beautiful street that is going to be perfect!  I don't know what I would have done without Elise,
she is the best :)
If finding a house is not exciting enough, our little Mr. Max has learned the art of crawling.  Gone are my days of putting him in the living room with toys, and going off to make dinner in the kitchen.  Gone are my days of not being worried about the stairs.  Our sweet man is growing up so fast...too fast for me!  He has even started to spit out the baby food (ya know, the nasty smashed green-beans, sweet potatoes etc...)  If he were to be interviewed and asked what his current favorite food, he would without a doubt say string cheese.  We sure love him, even if he is giving me more grey hairs than my 21-year-old-head can handle.

This is the place we are going to be living in Cleveland!  We are going
to be on the bottom floor.  Thanks Elise and Bren!!!
